With Summer finally seeming within our reach and the promise of a warm (and dry!) weekend, what better way to while away the hours than with a pitcher of ice-cool, refreshing Sangria? This one, a twist on the traditional red wine Sangria, is courtesy of The Kitchn.
Ingredients
Serves 4 to 6
2 to 3 white peaches, sliced (2 if they are large, 3 if they are small)
3/4 cup peach brandy
1 bottle moscato, chilled
1 litre sparkling peach water, chilled
3/4 cup peach brandy
1 bottle moscato, chilled
1 litre sparkling peach water, chilled
Method
- In a jug place 3/4 of the sliced peaches (saving some for garnish) and brandy and lightly muddle.
- Add the Moscato and sparkling water.
- Stir with wooden spoon to mix. Pour into ice filled glasses and top with a couple of fresh peach slices.
