Little Weekend Projects: Egg Shell Planters

We are eating eggs like they're going out of fashion at the moment in my house so here's a super easy project to make use of all the discarded shells. I think these would look cute on a kitchen windowsill for propagating cuttings from the garden or fresh herbs.

Little Weekend Projects: Party-Pimped Balloons

This weekend I will be surrounding myself with family and friends and celebrating (hopefully in style) for a dual-purpose: My birthday and my leaving for My Awfully Big Adventure.

Little Weekend Projects: Pine Cones

I love this super-cute, super-easy little craft which is perfect for this time of year, when we’re surrounded by pine cones. These pretty pine cones have been decorated with mini pompoms but I think that using thick, bright paint would work just as well. They would look great displayed in a straight line along a window, piled high in a rustic bowl (visit our Etsy Shop for the perfect pot!) or mixed with twinkling fairy-lights in a glass jar or vase.

A Plethora of Pots

So, I have been very busy this past week (in-between enjoying sunshine and lie-ins with The Original Cat) photographing all of my pots, vases, bowls etc. and I thought I’d share some of my favourite photographs with you. So, here goes!

The First Offering from The Cat’s Pyjamas

Ta-Daaa!
Without wanting to sound awful, I am rather pleased with how this pot turned out! Not only is it actually symmetrical but I love the colour of the glaze too. I think I’m definitely coming close to finding my potting-style!
